Another Evening Geocaching Adventure...
So last night I decide at 7:30pm that I don't want to Burn stuff in the fire pit. I go downstairs to the office and start my research for close caches. Aha! Yarson's Loot sounds interesting. I pick the Recycler - Rabbit Hill and Tree Hugger. None of which are skirt-lifters. I pack the Insane Sisters up in to the car and off we go. At Yarson't Loot I park the car and I have about a .25 walk on a nature trail behind a sub-division. I clip the girls together on one leash and I must say it worked like a charm. They marched all the way to the cache, side by side, perfectly. They both waited by the cache box patiently while I signed the log. Then the fun began. Lucy realizes she is tied to her sister and starts freakin' out. I swatted her on the behind and told her to go to the car. She fought it for a few minutes and then realized Dollie was in front. She straightened up and behaved the rest of the way back. All in all a pleasureable walk...Both ways.
Then came Recycler. Aweful. Especially in the dark. I called Doug and Linda. They told me I was cracked and I should come back in the day, wearing long pants and armed with a machete`. I agreed only after nearly being thorned to death. Good thing I left the dogs in the car on that one. I went home after that.
That's ok. I actually got 4 caches for the day. Up to 861...Woo and hoo. 139 to go - 17 days left. That would be 8.18 caches per day to do. Not gonna happen. But it should be fun trying.
